Great week for PSP games and demos.
This past week I got the PSP game, Jeanne D’Arc which I had overlooked a while back but don’t remember why. I had found some reviews on-line while I was doing a search for PSP RPG games. I had been playing Puzzle Quest and it had sparked and rekindled the RPG fan in me, so I wanted more for my PSP and PS2 and PC. Anyway Jeanne D’Arc looked like it might be good so I picked it up brought it home and have been playing it exclusively, I have dabbled in RPG’s on and off and I know that this one will have my attention for a long time. Jeanne D’Arc is really a great game and I would recommend it to anyone, I will put some links to the games that I talk about after the post if you want to check them out. I also found out that the PlayStation Store had the game demo download of “God of War: Chains of Olympus” and “Patapon” I have been waiting forever it seems for God of War: Chains of Olympus and read about the Demo that people got on UMD disk from somewhere on the net and wished that I could get my hands on it. Well it is almost March and God of War: Chains of Olympus is due to be released soon and now I get the demo, better late then never I guess. There is also a demo for the game Patapon at the PlayStation Store. This game is made by the same developers as “LocoRoco” and is a 2D rhythm type of game and from the game trailers it looks to be great fun. Well I now have my copy of Jeanne D’Arc and the God of War: Chains of Olympus and Patapon demos so I am going to get off my PC and check them out, it’s midnight and it looks like it’s going to be a long night of gaming oh yeah!

My blog’s and Web Design
In some of my posts I have wrote that I am having a hard time getting back into the mindset of Web Design. I have figured out that by doing these blog’s I am actually using skills that I would in developing a web site. In fact the site that I wanted to do to get back into web design was going to be kind of like a blog where I could put photos, videos, rants, thoughts and well whatever came to me at that moment. I have in the past created sites like this with custom “rollover” graphics for my links and some different “logos” for the page title, but I never got it past the development stage and put it on the web and turned it into something. Well now that I have been doing a couple blogs, I am seeing that what I wanted to do is pretty much a blog. So I am going to use my blogs as a jump off point for me by playing with the code and templates and also linking the blogs and my “blog from scratch” when I get it going. For the moment I am feeling better and not beating myself up so much for not getting down to work on my “blog from scratch” because I am getting back into the mindset of web development by doing these blogs. I am also finding out that I learn a lot by visiting other peoples blogs, when I do a search for say “linux” and I am led to a blog and not a regular “commercial” web site. I guess bottom line a blog is a web site and as long as I can get accurate information or put out accurate information, or even be entertained or entertain someone that’s the point of a web page. And if I can use my knowledge of web and graphic design to build an informative and/or entertaining place on the web for someone to go, well then I guess I am heading in the right direction.
